The 18-year-old man who turned shot into an open SEPTA train hitting two men after a Sixers game was arrested Friday evening in North Philadelphia. Police located Matthew Early hanging out at a friend's house on the 1700 block of North 27th Street. He was arrested without incident. His 16-year-old brother, Eric, was arrested last week. Eric was charged as an adult with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and conspiracy. Bail was set at $5 million. Matthew is expected to be charged similarly. The two brothers got into an argument on the Market-Frankford El with two men dressed in Chicago Bulls jerseys following a 76ers game on Dec. 12. When the train stopped at the 46th Street Station, surveillance video showed them stepping off, turning around, and firing into the car. The bullet hit the one Bulls fan in the stomach and then the other in the leg. A hearing is scheduled for Jan. 3.

FEMA has identified 769 homes and apartments available for rent in storm affected areas throughout the state of New Jersey. People who have been displaced from their homes because of Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy and have qualified for FEMA assistance can use that towards a security deposit and rent. If you previously have not needed assistance but your housing situation has changed, you may still apply to move to rental housing. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has identified 250 units in Atlantic County, 353 units in Monmouth County and 166 in Ocean County. Available units are listed on FEMA's website: www.fema.gov/housingportal or at www.socialserve.com under the New Jersey link.
