Kensington Rapist Victim Testifies, Bucks County Power Issues, Military Truck Polling Places in NJ

The first of four alleged victims expected to take the witness stand, testifies she was pulled off the street and into a car and raped by the alleged Kensington rapist, who is accused of raping three women and a fourth attempted rape in November of last year. The witness has testified defendant Marcos Camacho held a knife to her neck and raped her inside the car. Defense Attorney Alfonso Gambone told the jury Camacho, will testify he had sex with this woman, but it was consensual and that he didnâ€™t pay. Gambone says Camacho denies any physical connection with the other three alleged victims.

In Bucks County, several traffic signals are still out, just one example of why people canâ€™t wait to get the power back. Crews are working round the clock, but some residents say they may not get power back until Monday. The Quakertown food pantry decided to open up Thursday night for the first time since the storm hit. They are in need of supplies, but volunteers wanted to do what they could to help The Quakertown Food Pantry serves about 2,000 people a month. People who run it say they could use volunteers or any donations people can spare. Their phone number is (215)536-0240.

New Jersey state officials say they are extending the deadline for mail-in ballots and will deploy military trucks to serve as polling places on Election Day in storm-battered communities. Republican Secretary of State and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno (GWAHâ€™-dah-noh) said Thursday county clerksâ€™ offices have been ordered to remain open this weekend to help process mail-in ballots. Voters will be able to go to the clerksâ€™ offices through Tuesday to fill out mail-in ballots and hand them in. Requests for mail-in ballots are typically accepted by mail up to a week before an election and in person until 3 p.m. the day before an election. Guadagno says itâ€™s unclear how many of the stateâ€™s 3,000 polling places have electricity but she will know better Friday. More than 1.7 million electric customers are without power.
