The remnants of the Made in America Music Festival are still very visible. What remains to be seen is how many taxpayer dollars were spent to bring this unprecedented, private for profit event with Jay Z and Live Nation to Philadelphia. Mayor Michael Nutter's continually said that the numbers will be released when they’re ready. The Mayor has said previously that there would be cost-sharing, and that any taxpayer dollars would be worth it because of the publicity it would give Philadelphia.

A Philadelphia Traffic Court judge, his wife, and a Pennsylvania state representative’s aide were arrested this morning on charges of defrauding the state out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Assistant US attorney Paul Gray says JudgeRobert Mulgrew, his wife Elizabeth, and Lorraine Dispaldo, schemed to illegally obtain funds from the state Department of Community and Economic Development. The two nonprofit groups are Friends of Dickinson Park and Community to Police Communications.

A former squash coach at the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, will spend the next three years of his life on probation after admitting to a consensual sexual relationship with one of his players. The victim, who was 16 years old at the time of the affair last year, wrote to the judge asking him not to sentence James Civello to any more jail time, telling him she’s moving forward with her life. The 51-year-old man had already spent nearly a month behind bars after his arrest last year. Civello pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of corruption of minors.
