Police in Delaware County are searching for a suspect in connection with an attempted sexual assault inside an apartment August 25th in Radnor. The female victim heard knocking on her interior bedroom door. As she opened her door, she was knocked to the floor by a suspect who was naked from the waist down. After screaming for help, the suspect ran out of the apartment. The suspect is described as a black male, who was wearing a gray t-shirt and a red piece of clothing over his face. Investigators said he was naked from the waist down. The victim suffered minor physical injuries.

The Main Line temple was getting ready for the upcoming school year and the high holidays when members of Congregation Or Shalom noticed they had a problem, once again. Copper thieves broke into a fenced area behind the synagogue and stole copper piping from five air conditioning units one day after the temple put up fencing around the units. In late May, copper thieves hit this same temple, destroying fifteen AC units. They got $70 in copper and did $80,000 in damage. A few months earlier on Christmas, thieves stole thirteen copper downspouts from an historic church in nearby Wayne.

A school bus that was carrying middle school children on their first day of school in Chester County Monday afternoon suddenly became engulfed in flames. The fire happened at about 3:20 p.m. on Fellowship Road near Magnolia Drive in Upper Uwchlan. Police say the bus driver, who was carrying students from Lionville Middle School, reported smelling smoke and called for a relief bus from the Wolfington Bus Company. Authorities say just moments after the students were safely evacuated and left the area in the new bus, flames erupted on the abandoned school bus. Fire crews responded and were quickly able to extinguish the fire. A mechanical problem was reportedly what caused the blaze. Fortunately no injuries were reported.
