Missing Folcroft Boy Found Safe, Arrests Made; NJ Party Mass Shooting, 2 Dead; Body Found in Creek

A missing Delaware County boy has been found safe and three people are in custody according to authorities. 10-year-old Mason Brooks was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, 5/22, on the 2100 block of Delmar Drive in Folcroft, PA. Mason has a learning disability and may have gotten into a white or silver vehicle. He was wearing a red Phillies T-shirt, black shorts, and no shoes. He was found safe on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia. The FBI and Pennsylvania State Police joined the search. Three people have been arrested, but there is no word on any possible charges. No other details have been released.

Two people were killed and 12 others injured in a mass shooting at a party in Cumberland County, South Jersey late on Saturday night, 5/22. It happened around 11:50 p.m. on E. Commerce Street in Fairfield Township near Bridgeton. New Jersey State Police say that 100-200 people were at the house party. A 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were killed. At least one of the 12 injured is in critical condition. There are no details on what prompted the shooting. Fairfield Township Mayor Benjamin Byrd, Sr. called it "an ambush-style shooting." New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy released a statement:

"Since late last night, the New Jersey State Police and county and local law enforcement in Cumberland County have been investigating the horrific mass shooting at a large house party in Fairfield Township that attracted hundreds of party-goers. At this time, at least two people have lost their lives, among numerous other shooting victims, including several with injuries that are life-threatening. We hold those who have died, and their families, in our prayers today, and we also pray for the recoveries of those injured. We are grateful for the swift response of law enforcement and stand with them as they continue their investigation. Let there be no mistake: This despicable and cowardly act of gun violence only steels our commitment to ensuring New Jersey leads the nation in passing and enforcing strong and commonsense gun safety laws. No community should ever experience what occurred last night in Fairfield. We urge anyone with information to step forward, so those responsible can be brought to justice. This remains an active investigation with many moving parts. More information will be released as it is available and confirmed."

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a decomposing body was found in a creek in Northeast Philadelphia on Saturday. The body was spotted in the Frankford Creek off 4500 Castor Avenue near the Juniata Golf Club. The Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy to determine the person's identity and cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
