President-elect Joe Biden fractured his right foot on Saturday, 11/28, while playing with one of his dogs. It was initially thought to be a sprain. He went to Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists in Newark, Delaware, on Sunday, 11/29. Initial X-rays did not reveal any obvious fracture, but a subsequent CT scan found two tiny fracture of two small bones in the middle of the foot. "It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks," Biden's doctor Kevin O'Connor said. Biden was playing with his dog Major which they adopted in 2018. Their other dog is Champ which the family got in 2008. Both dogs will accompany the Biden's to the White House. Joe Biden says they also plan to get a cat.

A woman was found shot to death inside her car in Lansdale, Montgomery County, on Saturday night, 11/28. It happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Hancock Street and Church Road. Police responded to reports of a vehicle accident and gunfire. They found a Nissan sedan in the intersection with several bullet holes in the door. 30-year-old Ebony Pack was in the driver's seat suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. She was taken to Abington-Lansdale Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. If you have any information, contact the Lansdale Borough Police Department at 215-368-1801 or Montgomery County Detectives at 610-278-3368

Parents in Montgomery County rallied on Sunday, 11/29, fighting for schools in the county to reopen to in-person instruction. The Montco Board of Health voted to move all public and private K-12 schools to all virtual instruction for two weeks around the Thanksgiving holiday starting last Monday, 11/23, and lasting through this upcoming week. Voice for Choice organized the Open Our Schools car rally. About 100 cars gathered at the Horsham Athletic Club on Horsham Road around noon. Some parents are worried that schools won't reopen on December 7 as planned and students will continue to be kept out of the classroom.
