Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner appeared on CNN with host Alisyn Camerota on Friday morning, 10/30, to discuss the upcoming election and an open message he directed toward President Donald Trump on Wednesday, 10/28. Krasner wrote, "Keep your Proud Boys, goon squads, and uncertified 'poll watchers' out of our city, Mr. President. Break the law here, and I've got something for you." When asked what that meant by Camerota, Krasner said, "That means I've got a jail cell and I've got criminal charges and you can stand in front of a Philadelphia jury, which, by the way, is a diverse jury, and you can explain why you thought it was okay to come to Philly and steal our votes. This is the birthplace of democracy and we are not doing this - wannabe fascists stay home," Krasner explained.

Philadelphia Police are conducting an internal affairs investigation after video shows officers surround an SUV and smash its windows with a mother, toddler, and teen inside during protests earlier this week. It happened around 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, 10/27, near 52nd and Chestnut Streets in West Philadelphia. 28-year-old Rickia Young, who works as a home healthcare worker and lives near Temple University, went to get her 16-year-old nephew from a friend's house in West Philadelphia. She put her 2-year-old son in the car so he could sleep on the way. She took her usual route home. She made a turn and ended up right between a line of police and protesters. Young attempted to turn around, but officers swarmed her car and broke out the windows. Young and her nephew were pulled out of the car and struck by police. The baby was also removed from the vehicle and taken. Young was detained and then went to Jefferson University Hospital to be treated for her injuries. The grandmother eventually found the 2-year-old with police at City Hall. The National Fraternal Order of Police had posted a photo of an officer holding the boy claiming police had found a barefoot child wandering the streets. That post has since been removed. Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw says that the officer seen smashing windows is currently on restrictive duty. The family is still trying to locate their vehicle. The boy's hearing aids were in the SUV.
"On Oct. 29, the National Fraternal Order of Police posted a photo of a Philadelphia police officer carrying a young child at the scene of a civil disturbance," NFOP spokeswoman Jessica Cahill told VICE News. "The National FOP subsequently learned of conflicting accounts of the circumstances under which the child came to be assisted by the officer and immediately took the photo and caption down."

A Burlington County youth pastor and religious teacher has been accused of posing as a teenage girl on social media to have young boys send nude and explicit photos and videos of themselves so he could then blackmail them. 30-year-old Sean Higgins of Palmyra is charged with six counts of first-degree manufacturing child pornography, first-degree aggravated sexual assault, five counts of second-degree distribution of child pornography, second-degree sexual assault, six counts of third-degree possession of child pornography, six counts of third-degree child endangerment and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.
Higgins is a youth pastor and music leader of the Harbor Baptist Church and teacher at the 75-student Harbor Baptist Academy. He would pose as a teenage girl named 'Julie' or 'Julia' Miller on Snapchat and Instagram. He made contact with six boys between the ages of 12-15. Higgins would befriend them and eventually suggest they swap nude photos. Once he received a nude photo of the boy, he would reveal his true identity and blackmail them into performing live on camera or sending more photos/videos or else he'd send the photos to the boy's contacts. Two of the victims reported the blackmail. His victims lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Alabama and South Dakota. He is being held at at Burlington County jail. Authorities say that no young person at the church or school where he taught were victimized.
