| Multi-state Manhunt Moves to PA; Bucks County Hotel Shooting; Fire Truck Tips; Mail-in Vote Deadline |

A multi-state manhunt is underway for a University of Connecticut senior wanted in two murders over the weekend. Police are looking for 23-year-old Peter Manfredonia who is a finance and mechanical engineering major from Sandy Hook. He is suspected of killing 62-year-old Ted DeMers on Friday, 5/22, in Willington, CT, and 23-year-old Nicholas Eisele on Sunday in Derby, CT. Police said on Monday that they found Eisele's 23-year-old girlfiend unharmed with her car at a rest stop in Paterson, NJ. Police believe Manfredonia was spotted along train tracks near East Stroudsburg, PA, on Sunday. He was wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts, and was carrying a large duffel bag. Manfredonia is presumed to be armed and dangerous. On Sunday, he stole several guns from a man in Willington, CT. A lawyer for Manfredonia's family said on Monday, "Peter, if you are listening, you are loved," Mike Dolan said at a news conference Monday. "It is time to let the healing process begin. It's time to surrender. You have your parents' and your sisters' and your family's entire support. So, Peter, from your parents, we love you, please turn yourself in." Police have identified a man that was killed in a shooting outside of a hotel in Bucks County early Sunday morning, 5/24. 25-year-old Davon Frink of Trenton was found shot in the neck and face. It happened around 1:15 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express on the 3100 block of Cabot Road near Oxford Valley Road in Falls Township. The victim was taken to St. Mary Medical Center where he later died. The shooting happened outside the main entrance. Several shell casings were found out front and windows and doors were also hit by the gunfire. Frink was part of a large group of people from Trenton that had rented several rooms in the hotel. Responding officers also say that a large number of people were trying to leave the area when they first arrived. It is unclear what led up the the shooting. The investigation is ongoing. A fire truck, flying a large American flag for Memorial Day on its extended ladder, tipped over and crashed onto a passing car in Bucks County on Monday morning, 5/25. It happened around 11:30 a.m. outside the Plumsteadville Fire Department on North Easton Road just north of Doylestown. As the fire crew went to reposition the truck, the extended ladder began to tip and crashed across the lanes of Rt 611. A passenger car happened to drive by at the exact time and the ladder fell on top of the vehicle. Two people inside suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. They are expected to be fine. The road was closed for several hours as crews took apart and removed the ladder and righted the fire truck.
Remember that Tuesday, May 26, is the deadline to fill out an application to receive a mail-in or absentee ballot in Pennsylvania. All applications must be received at county offices by 5pm. A late application will not be accepted, even if it was postmarked before the deadline. You can apply for a mail-in ballot online or drop off a paper application by hand at your county office. See below for links to the application and how to find your county election office. Election Day will be next Tuesday, June 2. Send your completed ballot back as soon as possible. It must be received at the county election office by 8pm on June 2. You can also drop your completed ballot off by hand. There will be physical polls open on June 2, but they have been consolidated from past years. See the link below to find your new poling place.
