Philadelphia Police have now identified the two men in connection with the deadly carjacking and crash that killed 3 children and critically injured 2 adults. 19-year-old Jonathan Rosa and 22-year-old Cornelius Crawford were in police custody on Sunday. They have been charged with 3 counts of 2nd-degree murder, robbery, carjacking, kidnapping, sexual assault and related offenses. Yesterday, Rosa turned himself into police with his lawyer, mother, and minister. His lawyer said Rosa was filled with grief over the children and wanted to cooperate to atone for his role. After hours of talking with investigators, they arrested Crawford at 6th and Cambria near the site of carjacking. Crawford has a lengthy criminal record, Rosa does not. The two met only a week ago. One of their cell phones was found near the site of the crash and has video of the incident. Former 76er and NBA analyst Charles Barkley contacted DA Seth Williams expressing his interest in helping pay funeral costs for the three children.

There was a deadly crash on County Line Road in Hatboro this afternoon that closed off the road that straddles Montgomery and Bucks Counties. It happened around 3pm between Jacksonville Road and Park Avenue. A dump truck collided with a sedan. The unidentified person was trapped inside the sedan and died. The road did not reopen until early Monday evening. Authorities are investigating the crash.

One man is in the hospital and another is on the loose after an altercation in an Upper Darby Wawa over the weekend. It happened around 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Wawa at 69th Street near Patterson Avenue in Upper Darby. Police say a man, who was with his teen daughter, approached another man ordering a sandwich. He then accused the victim of looking at his daughter and proceeded to punch the man in the face. The 47-year-old man suffered a cut to his head and a possible concussion. The suspect did not accuse the man of talking to her, or touching her, only looking, and the victim denies even looking at the teenager. Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said the police are treating this as an assault case. They say the suspect left the scene in a four-door car, possibly a Ford. (see picture below)
