Philadelphia police have identified the body of the woman found dead and stuffed inside a duffel bag in North Philadelphia early Monday morning. 23-year-old Laura Araujo's cause of death has been listed as homicide by blunt force trauma and strangulation. Her hands and feet had been bound, and her body was put inside a plastic bag, wrapped in a blanket and stuffed in the duffel bag. It was found by a trash picker on the 2200 block of North 3rd Street around 5:30 a.m. Police believe that the body had been there 4-8 hours. Araujo's 2011 Toyota Rav 4 was found earlier that morning on fire on the 1600 block of Bambrey Street in South Philadelphia. All of Araujo's belongings were also dumped near her body. She was a recent graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia (Fashion Design, December 2013). Originally from New York, she has spent the past few years in Philadelphia while attending school. She was in the process of looking for a new apartment. Police are trying to determine her whereabouts before her death and where she may have been staying. There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of her killer. If you have any information contact Philadelphia PD at 215-686-3334 or 3335.

SEPTA and Philadelphia Police are investigating after windows of a SEPTA bus were shot at and shattered Tuesday afternoon. The incident happened at 2:30 this afternoon as the Route 54 bus was traveling on Lehigh Avenue between 15th and 16th Streets. The bus was hit by gunfire and two of its windows were shattered. Investigators say that it likely that it was a BB gun and not a bullet that caused the damage. None of the passengers were injured. They are now working to find who was responsible. This was an older model bus and did not have cameras.

Residents along the 300 block of Erie Street in Camden were woken up this morning by a lot of unexplained official activity surrounding one home on the block. FBI, Camden police and county officials descended on the neighborhood at 6 a.m. with heavy equipment, a dump truck, a backhoe, and tents and presumably began to search the house for … a body, drugs, guns? They wouldn't say and the crime scene tape and tarps makes it hard to see. It could be a new lead on a cold case. Neighbors say that the house was occupied.
