The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that they will not be returning to Lehigh University for training camp this year. The Eagles have been going to the Bethleham, PA campus for the past 17 years. Training camp this year will held at both the NovaCare Complex and Lincoln Financial Field. According to the press release, “The new Training Camp plan will include a number of free, public practices at Lincoln Financial Field along with private practices (invitation only) at the NovaCare Complex. The full Training Camp schedule will be released later this spring.” This will be the first time that training camp has been held in the city of Philadelphia since 1943 when it was held at Saint Joseph's University.

A King of Prussia man has plead not guilty today at his formal arraignment to all charges related to the murder of a 10-month-old infant and her grandmother during a botched kidnap for ransom plot last October. 26-year-old Raghunandan Yandamuri is facing charges of homicide, kidnapping, and related offenses for the murder of Saanvi Venna and her grandmother, 61 year old Satayrathi Venna. Authorities claim that Yandamuri killed the grandmother while she fought back against the kidnapping from their Upper Merion apartment. The baby was suffocated and dumped. A multi-day search for the missing child ensued. Yandamuri's ransom plot was discovered and he led authorities to the body. He faces the death penalty at trial, althought the Montgomery County DA has not ruled out making a plea deal to take away the death penalty.
