Strange Coincidence Lambertville Disappearance; Hunting Park Collapse; South Jersey Bow/Arrow Murder

The disappearance of 39-year-old Sarah Majoras between New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ is still confusing and frustrating authorities, friends, family, and neighbors. Majoras left John and Peter's bar early on Saturday morning around 2 a.m. She walked the familiar route across the bridge over the Delaware River to her home in New Jersey. Surveillance cameras captured images of Majoras reaching the other side of the bridge and crossing the street. That is the last time she was seen. Authorities have used cameras and sonar to search the canal, dive teams searched the Delaware River, and canines and helicopters have combed the area. People have posted signs and looked all over town. As an eerie coincidence the two small towns across the river recall a similar incident 13 years ago. A local musician, 31-year-old David Anderson disappeared after leaving John and Peter's and crossing the bridge late at night. He was found dead in the canal 3 days later. His death was ruled an accident. He was on his way home to a place he shared with Adam Baker, the same man that Majoras is now dating. They are all well known in the community.

A building under construction in the Hunting Park section collapsed Tuesday afternoon injuring four people. The building is the future home of the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit on the 300 block of East Hunting Park Ave. The workers were framing the building with 2x4's when a few beams collapsed sending wood falling on and injuring four workers. Two were sent to Einstein Medical Center and the other two to Temple University Hospital. Their injuries were not life threatening.

A South Jersey man has been charged with murder after shooting another man in the stomach with a bow and arrow following a fistfight in the backyard of his Berlin, NJ home. Timothy Canfield is charged in the death of Kereti Paulson, of Cape May Court House. Paulson and another man engaged in a fistfight at Canfield's home around 10 p.m. on Monday night. After the fight everyone retreated into the house except Paulson. Canfield then came back outside with a bow and arrow and shot Paulson once in the stomach. When police arrived, they found him on the ground outside in the backyard. He later died in the hospital. The arrow had stuck a vein.
