Black Madam to Stand Trial in Silicone Murder; Pawlucy Won't Return; Man Charged w/ Straw Purchase

Padge Victoria Windslowe, aka "Black Madam", who is accused of killing a 20-year-old British tourist with illegal silicone butt injections last year, was held over for trial on all charges this morning including third-degree murder and the unauthorized practice of medicine and surgery. Prosecutors argued that Windslowe portrayed herself as a medical professional when she administered the series of injections on the young woman who travelled from London for the cosmetic enhancement. In the last meeting at the Hampton Inn at the airport November 2010, Claudia Seye Aderotimi began having chest pains after the procedure and later died at the hospital. The industrial grade silicone had spread to her lungs, brain, liver, and heart. Windslowe's attorney argued that the silicone that killed Aderotimi was not conclusively linked to the silicone injected and that she knew she was getting an illegal procedure done by someone not a medical professional.

Samantha Pawlucy will not return to Charles Carroll High School in Port Richmond. After the morning rally and show of support yesterday, Pawlucy entered the school and became uncomfortable in the hallways around her peers. Neither will her two siblings who also attend the school. They will most likely transfer to a charter school. Pawlucy left school after being there for an hour, expecting to see her teacher Lynette Gaymon and hopefully hear an apology.. Gaymon came to school later and read a letter to students expressing regret that her intended â€œlight and humorous remarkâ€ has caused so much unrest. Samantha was not there to hear the explanation in person.

A Philadelphia man is charged with the illegal straw purchase of 9 firearms. One of those weapons was used in the shooting death of Plymouth Meeting Officer Brad Fox last month by Andrew Thomas, who in turn took his own life. Michael Henry legally purchased seven pistols and two rifles from various gun shops around the area. He then turned around and sold those guns to Thomas for $500 each. Thomas used a 9mm Beretta after he was chased by police onto the Schuykill river Trail. Henry is being held on $1 million bail.
