The incoming chief executive of Camden's Campbell's Soup company Denise Morrison has a plan to revive sales - more salt! In recent years, the soup maker has reduced salt and sodium for health benefits. But the new CEO wants to refocus on soup that tastes good. Campbell's plans to update 46 soup recipes and introduce a few new ones. A Philadelphia Parking Authority officer is losing his job for going on a verbal anti-gay tirade this week. The PPA officer, Joseph DeJohn had parked his vehicle in a no parking zone at 6th and Carpenter Streets in Queen Village. When he noticed two men taking a photograph of the PPA vehicle, DeJohn lashed out, calling them faggots and suggested they take pictures of themselves performing sex acts on each other. The Philadelphia school district still facing a $600 million dollar budget gap has many wondering about the 18 day district wide summer school program, which costs $18 million dollars.
Some classrooms have had full attendance, while others, have had minimal to no students showing up. Teachers are sitting in empty classrooms with nothing to do and being paid.
