Mumford and Sons Announce New Album "Babel" due September 24, 2012 plus tourdates |

Mumford and Sons have announced the release date and track list to their next album titled Babel. This will be the highly anticipated followup to their immensely successful 2009 debut record Sign No More, which has gone multi-platinum and contained a few Grammy-nominated songs.
Babel is due to be release on September 24, 2012.
The track list is as follows:

An off-duty Philadelphia police officer was killed after his shift early this morning while riding his bicycle and was struck by a hit and run driver. Investigators are looking into reports that the officer was struck by someone he knew, and had an argument with earlier in the day. Police recovered a white Acura believed to be the car involved in the collision.

An off-duty police officer from the 22nd District is dead, after he was struck by a car around midnight. Police say the incident may have been intentional, the result of an earlier argument between the driver and the officer. The crash happened on the 6800 block of Musgrave Street in East Mount Airy

The downtown mural in State College has been changed again in light of the Freeh Report. Artist Michael Pilato had painted a halo above Joe Paterno's head after he passed away in January. After Thursday's report that implicated Paterno as well as other high ranking Penn State officers including former University President Graham Spanier in covering up aspects of Jerry Sandusky's child sex abuse case, Pilato felt he had to remove the halo from the painting. Bastille Day, July 14th, is the French National Holiday commemorating the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille fortress prison on July 14, 1789. That act is seen as the symbol of the uprising of the French Revolultion and the start of the modern nation of France.

Rapper DMX was in the hospital with a concussion today. He was injured when he fell off of his four-wheeler and crashed down a hill. He apparently flipped and sustained a concussion. He appears to be fine but we do not yet know when he will be released.

Hundreds paid tribute today to two fallen officers. Millville Police Officer Christopher Reeves had a funeral and was laid to rest today. He was killed in the line of duty when his cruiser was struck by a vehicle driven by a suspect fleeing from police. Acting New Jersey Governor Kim Guadagno has ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff to honor Officer Reeves. Officer Reeves was an eight-year veteran of the force. The funeral procession for Philadelphia Police Highway Patrol Officer Brian Lorenzo closed 8th Street, Arch Street and the Ben Franklin Parkway this morning on its way to the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. Lorenzo was killed last weekend after his shift when his motorcycle was struck be a car traveling the wrong way on I 95. The driver of the car was allegedly drunk.

A mother and son were bitten by a pit bull in the city's Kensington neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
It happened near Coral and Firth streets. Authorities say the dog bit the child in the leg and then bit the mother as she tried to help her son. Police also say the father hit the dog with a hammer to free the boy. Animal Control officers were called to the scene and took the dog away.
