Missing Delware County Woman Debra Miller; Three Swarthmore Students injured in Italian Soccer Brawl

Delaware County police are asking the public's help in finding a woman that has been missing for a week. Debra Miller of Essington left her home last Sunday, November 18 to the go to the grocery store, but never returned. She has not been seen or heard from since. The authorities do not suspect foul play but they have searched the wooded areas around her home anyway. Free Saturday Parking in Philadelphia for Holidays; Reading Market Model Trains now on Display

The City of Philadelphia has announced Free parking at meters and kiosks every Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. and going to 5 p.m. until December 29th. The first free parking Saturday was yesterday, though many people may not have been aware of the policy, despite PPA's PR efforts. The free parking deal applies to meters citywide. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie estimates that Hurricane Sandy will cost New Jersey $29.4 billion in both damages and economic losses. Widespread damage to the coastline and shore towns include both private property with water logged/destroyed homes and public transportation and utilities such as washed away roads, broken gas lines, water pipes and electric grids. Black Friday began a little shaky in New Jersey —a 2.1-magnitude earthquake was measured near Clementon, a little after midnight. It was the second earthquake to hit New Jersey this month. On Nov. 5, a 2.0-magnitude quake struck the Ringwood area in Passaic County.

Earthquake Shakes Camden County, Suicide Leap From New Hope Bridge, Black Friday Shopping

An earthquake in Camden County New Jersey left a few people shaken early this morning. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 12:13 am. Tremors were felt in Lindenwold, Clementon, Echelon and Pine Hill. No reports of any injuries or damage.

Seaside Heights Coaster May Stay in Ocean; Penn State Lion Shrine Getting Makeover

Hurricane Sandy did extensive damage up and down the New Jersey coast. In Seaside Heights, NJ it knocked the entire roller coaster of the Funtown Pier off into the ocean. The roller coaster has been sitting in the waves since the October 29th landfall. Mayor Bill Akers says that a decision has not been made yet as to what to do with the coaster, but they are exploring the option of just leaving it there. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Before the football games, overeating and lively conversation around the table, many will take advantage of the near perfect weather for the annual Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. If you go, the parade starts at 8:30 am at 20th Street and JFK Boulevard and ends around noon at the steps of the Art Museum.
