Meteor sightings have been reported tonight throughout the East Coast tonight from Florida to Massachusetts including many in Philadelphia and South Jersey. The largest of which touched of a storm of it's own on the Internet with people reporting seeing a large shooting star around 8:00 EDT. A five year old Israeli boy with a rare form of cancer has come to Philadelphia's CHOP searching for a cure. Harel Dabush was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma two years ago and the boy’s tumor has spread through his body. The experimental treatment will cost over $60,000 a month.

Marcus Hook Mayor James "Jay" Schiliro (pictured) has been asked to step down after being charged with various crimes. On February 21st the mayor allegedly ordered police to bring a 20 year old to his house where the mayor gave him wine and offered to perform oral sex on the minor 20 to 30 times. In a frustrated, alcohol fueled rage the mayor fired a 9 mm hand gun into a wall while his 13 year old daughter slept upstairs. The mayor denies charges and has decided to run for re-election. The PA state House passed a bill on Thursday night that would privatize wine and liquor sales and phase out Pennsylvania's state store system. It is the first time a liquor privatization bill has passed either chamber of the legislature. Authorities have arrested a man at Philadelphia International Airport for impersonating a pilot. The incident happened on a US Airways flight set for West Palm Beach, FL at around 6:30 pm on Wednesday. 61-year-old Phillepe Jeannard of La Rocelle, France, who was a ticketed passenger for the flight, was sitting in the jump-seat behind the captain's chair in the cockpit of the airplane. The man who allegedly hit and killed a jogger in Royersford March 4th was smoking pot and texting while driving. According to the Montgomery County DA, Justin Jackson is charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence. The jogger, Melinda Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene after Jackson’s car crossed the road and hit her from behind.

During a drug investigation in Wilmington yesterday, 23-year-old Marlon R. Lindsey attempted to conceal crack cocaine. Officers transported Lindsey to Wilmington Hospital, where detectives received a warrant to search Lindsey's body cavity. Detectives then located and seized 25 bags of crack cocaine valued at about $250 inside the suspect’s rectum.
