Eight residents were displaced after a partial building collapse on South Street Monday night. The incident happened along the 800 block of South Street in Bella Vista. There are no reported injuries. It is unclear if the building collapse is weather-related at this time.
FBI agents on Monday visited the home of a man whose son has identified himself as the source of leaks about top-secret U.S. surveillance programs.

New Jersey State Police say two men are facing charges, including allegedly operating a drug manufacturing facility in Atlantic County. Rubin Sewell and Lavelle Davis, of Galloway, were arrested Friday morning in Galloway Township. I am a recent convert to being a devotee of Patty Griffin. I really got interested in her work when I saw and heard her as part of the Robert Plant Band of Joy tour. American Kid really speaks to me on many levels; as a fan, as a veteran, as a father, as husband and as someone who has experienced loss.

The concert last week at the World Cafe Live in Philly was a surprising mix of comedy and inspiring music. The night opened with Rebecca Haviland and the Whiskey Hearts. Only one of the four other Hearts performed, yet the music was very well done. Rebecca has a very strong voice with a hint of Bonnie Raitt coming through. She performed six songs with the most notable being a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “ Black Dogâ€.

Lightning at Merion Golf Course interrupted Tiger Woods' scheduled 6:45 tee time this morning. This is the first official day of practice rounds for the U.S. Open in Haverford Township. The event is expected to draw more than 25,000 spectators a day.

An off duty New Jersey police officer accused of shooting and killing a man on Interstate-97 in Maryland has been arrested there. Authorities say 40-year-old Joseph Walker is from Eastampton, Burlington County and is an officer with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s office. Walker allegedly shot 36-year-old Joseph Harvey after a dispute while both were driving on the highway.
