Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who has been missing from a shelter for over a week. Clarence David Shuford has developmental and physical disabilities and requires daily medication. He lives at the Fernwood Shelter and was last seen leaving Torresdale-Aria Hospital last Wednesday. Shuford is described as a black man, 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds with a medium build and a medium complexion.

The jury returned a partial verdict Thursday afternoon in the case of Dorothy June Brown, the founder of four charter schools. The fraud trial about phantom board members, fabricated documents, forged signatures and high test scores has been going on for five weeks. The jury is undecided on 76 year old Brown and her role in a cover up. However two co-defendants were acquitted of conspiracy and obstruction. Frank Schaefer met with church officials this morning after serving a 30-day suspension for violating the church's Book of Discipline. The Secret Service is investigating a major breach in credit and debit card security at 1,800 Target department stores nationwide. Beginning Black Friday through December 15th, a malware collected credit card information at about 40,000 checkouts in stores across the country. The jury in a charter school fraud case in Philadelphia will return to its deliberations Thursday, with the potential of losing some jurors by Friday. Police are looking for a suspect who attacked and robbed a woman outside the Willow Grove Park Mall. It happened on Monday, Dec 16th at around 8 pm. The 66-year-old woman was leaving the Macy's on the second level parking lot when she was knocked to the ground sustaining injuries to her face, hands, and knees. The suspect stole her purse. A judge overseeing the NFL concussion litigation has appointed a financial expert to advise her on the proposed $765 million settlement. Perry Golkin, co-founder of Public Pension Capital Management in New York, will be a special master. The NFL and retired players announced a deal in August that would cover 19,000 retired players. Awards would reach $5 million for athletes with Lou Gehrig’s disease or $3 million for dementia cases, and include medical testing.
