Police have arrested and charged a second person in connection with the school shooting that took place Friday at Delaware Valley Charter High School. They say that video footage shows 18-year-old Donte Walker, a 2013 graduate, purchasing the gun from an unidentified male. Walker then entered the school building but did not pass through the metal detectors and the gun went unnoticed. The classic rock group America has had a bang up year with two Golden Globe Awards going to a movie and another to a TV series using one of its songs. Both Breaking Bad and American Hustle used the song "A Horse With No Name" to project a mood swing from serenity to uncertainty. Though America has had numerous hits over the years, nothing has come close to "A Horse With No Name" in terms of either public recognition or the use in movies, TV etc.

A CSX freight train derailed this morning on the Schuylkill Arsenal Bridge. Some of the six derailed cars contained crude oil causing concern over spills onto roadways and the river below. Coast Guard reports from a river crew and inspectors at the derail site reported no leaks. The investigation into the cause of the derailment is underway.

A mother and son were both found dead, shot in the head, in their home in the Lawncrest section of Northeast Philadelphia this afternoon. Police were called to the scene at 3:30 pm Sunday on the 300 block of Stevens Street. A 29-year-old woman had found the two victims, a 49-year-old mother and her 22-year-old son. A second suspect in yesterday's gun shooting at Delaware Valley Charter High School is in police custody and is being charged as an adult with aggravated assault and related offenses. He has been identified by police as 17-year-old student Raisheem Rochwell. It happened yesterday shortly before 3:30 pm in the school's gymnasium. An 18-year-old female was shot in the arm. Two Students were shot Friday afternoon at a North Philadelphia high school. The incident happened at Delaware Valley Charter High School, located at 5201 Old York Rd in the Logan section at around 3:20pm. A student at the school pulled out a handgun in the gymnasium and it discharged. It is unclear if it was intentional or accidental.
