A cruise ship returned to New Jersey after a shortened trip to the Caribbean thanks to a sickness that struck 700 passengers and crew. The Explorer of the Seas had over 3,000 on board when passengers started getting sick. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suspect norovirus, but results of tests are not expected until next week.

| A man from Collingdale, Delaware County, is under arrest and charged with embezzling nearly $3 million from his employer. 45-year-old James Bryan of the 800 block of Spruce Street worked for Wescott Electric, in Aston, PA, for 26 years and was also a member of the Collingdale Borough Council for 20 years. The final round of hearings for Philadelphia's second casino license began Tuesday. Gaming Control Board Spokesman Doug Harbach says it is conceivable the board would elect not to license a second casino in Philadelphia.
