Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery stepped down from the bench Monday after 8 years on the state's high court amid a porn e-mail scandal. He sent a letter of resignation to the governor effective immediately. The Judicial Conduct Board has dropped its investigation into McCaffery following disclosure that he had sent over 200 e-mails containing sexually explicit material to state employees between 2008 and 2012. SEPTA Union Ready to Strike; Police Seize ATV's; UberX Disrupted

Union members have voted unanimously to strike if SEPTA does not come to an agreement. 1500 members of TWU Local 234 voted to authorize union leadership to call a strike. The largest union represents 4,700 bus drivers, subway and trolley operators, and maintenance workers at SEPTA. Since March they have been working under an expired contract.

A student at a suburban Seattle high school opened fire in the cafeteria on Friday killing one and injuring several others as they ate lunch. The attacker has been identified as 14-year-old freshman student Jaylen Fryberg. He was killed in the attack. It happened at Marysville Pilchuck High School about 30 miles north of Seattle, WA.
