The 57th Annual Grammy Awards was once again held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Sam Smith was the big winner on the night, taking home 4 golden gramophone trophies. See winners below.

A 15-year-old boy from Montgomery County suspected of having the measles has been cleared of having the disease, health officials said Sunday. The teen had presented symptoms of the disease and was self-isolating at home while specimens were being tested. The Montgomery County Department of Health said that after extensive analyzing they determined the boy does not have the measles virus. Philadelphia University Men's Basketball Head Coach reached a milestone Saturday evening achieved by only one other NCAA coach. 73-year-old Herb Magee earned his 1,000th career win with an 80-60 win over Post University at the Gallagher Center on campus. Officials in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, are investigating a reported case of physician suspected measles. The County Health Department has evaluated and tested the patient, a 15-year-old boy. Specimens have been sent to the State Public Health Laboratory to determine if the teen does infact have the measles. A 51 year old man was shot 17 times in the Kinsessing section of Philadelphia overnight. Police suspect there were two shooters firing semi-automatic weapons at close range due to the number of shell casings surrounding the collapsed victim. The victim’s wallet was found on the ground, suggesting robbery may have been the motive.

Police say a man was shot at 17 times and killed overnight in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia. This happened around midnight on the 1400 block of South Paxon Street. Police say after responding to calls of numerous shots being fired, they found a 51-year-old man — shot in the face and body — lying unconsciousness in the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police say they believe they are looking for two suspects who fled the scene on foot.

Two Philadelphia Police officers have been charged with beating an innocent man and falsely reporting the incident. Around 10:00 p.m. on May 29, 2013, near North 7th and Somerset streets, Officers Sean McKnight and Kevin Robinson pulled over 23-year-old Najee Rivera who was driving a scooter. A former Philadelphia Police officer was sentenced today to 17 years in prison. Jonathan Garcia would use a confidential informant to help set up drug dealers, which he would then rob drugs and cash from while in uniform after stopping them. Garcia would turn around and sell the drugs, usually heroin and pills. Garcia's partner, Sydemy Joanis, also charged with stealing money but not dealing the drugs, was sentenced today to 5 years in prison.
