Two suspects have been charged in the shooting death of Philadelphia Police Officer Robert Wilson III. They have been identified as brothers, 24-year-old Ramone Williams and 29-year-old Carlton Hipps. The two have been charged with 1st degree murder, conspiracy, and attempted murder. Philadelphia police officer Robert Wilson III is being remembered as a "nice young man." Wilson was gunned down while stopping a robbery inside a GameStop on Lehigh Avenue in North Philly. Officer Wilson frequently checked on elderly neighbors and was a family man, father of two boys, 9 and 1. Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey said Wilson was one of the best police officers this city has to offer.

A Philadelphia Police officer who was buying a gift for his son as a reward for good grades was shot and killed during a shootout with two suspects who were trying to rob a video game store in North Philadelphia Thursday. The mother of a 6 year old boy is claiming a teacher roughed up her son at school on Tuesday in West Philadelphia. Mercedes Martinez found scratch marks on the neck of her son, Quadree when she picked him up at school. According to Southwest Detectives, the teacher asked the boy to be quiet, there was a struggle, and at some point the teacher grabbed him.

SEPTA expects to run trains, buses and trolleys on normal weekday schedules today, but they do warn that could change as the snow moves in you can expect delays.
