Jim Kenney won the Philadelphia Democratic Primary in convincing fashion yesterday putting Kenney in position to become Philadelphia’s next mayor. Kenney got more than twice the votes as second place finisher, Anthony Williams. Lynne Abraham, only the second woman to make a run at Mayor finished with 8% of the vote. Former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden was hospitalized Tuesday night at Walter Reed Medical Center. The office of Vice President Biden did not provide any information about why the 46-year-old is hospitalized. Beau Biden has had health problems in the past. In 2010, he suffered a mild stroke and he underwent surgery at a Texas cancer center in 2013.

Jay Z's Budweiser Made in America Festival will be returning to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway once again for it's 4th year this Labor Day Weekend. The show was announced on the festival's website and Facebook page on Tuesday evening. The dates for this year's shows are Saturday and Sunday, September 5th and 6th.
