A new Miley Cyrus song called "Nightmare" has surfaced this week. It is rumored to be off her upcoming fifth studio album. The synth-heavy track is reminiscent of pre-Bangerz era Cyrus' material. Recently, she has been working on her Happy Hippie Foundation which promotes programs geared towards helping homeless and LGBT youth. A man was arrested today for the robbery of a Bank of America branch in Plymouth Meeting on June 3rd. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and fired a shot into the bank as he was leaving. Surveillance footage of the suspect was released to the public. The man was arrested at his home near New Hope Street and Fornace Street in Norristown. They found the gun hidden among some toys. His identity will be released when he is formally charged.

Police in Mount Laurel, New Jersey were on high alert this morning after a threat at a local middle school. Students and staff were checked before entering the building at Harrington Middle school. According to police, someone made a threat against the school around 9:00 p.m. last night. Police searched the building, but found nothing. Apparently similar threats were made at other school districts throughout New Jersey Monday evening.

Police are investigating after a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times in North Philadelphia. Authorities say he was dropped off at Temple University Hospital by a private vehicle, and the vehicle then left the hospital. Police believe the shooting took place at 11th Street and Indiana Avenue around midnight.

Former Sonic Youth bassist/vocalist Kim Gordon and Dinosaur Jr.'s J Mascis have teamed up to put out a new track titled "Slow Boy" for the third Converse compilation, CONS EP Vol. 3. The pair go way back as label mates on SST Records in the 80's as well as on joint tours over the years and other collaborations. Two people have been arrested in connection with a man found dead inside a suitcase near Philadelphia International Airport last month. 41-year-old Scott Bernheisel was found stuffed inside a suitcase by a man walking his dog in Tinicum Township on May 28th. Police determined that Bernheisel was beaten to death inside a home on the 200 block of Wilder Street back on May 22nd. A naked man led authorities on a chase through Lake Luxembourg in Bucks County. The man had been in the emergency room at St. Mary’s Hospital about 100 yards from the lake. It’s not clear why, but families picnicking by the lake got quite a show as the man lost his gown and swam about a mile before rangers were able to sedate the man with a syringe and pull him into a boat.
