| The Pennsylvania Parole Board ruled earlier this month that Bill Cosby's request for parole has been denied. The decision was made on May 11, but just released to the public on Thursday, 5/27. | The 76ers fan who dumped popcorn on Washington Wizards star Russell Westbrook during last night's playoff game at the Wells Fargo Center has had his season tickets revoked and is indefinitely banned from all events at the WFC. It happened in the 4th quarter as Westbrook was walking back through the tunnel after injuring his ankle. The fan reached over and dumped a box of popcorn on Westbrook's head. | The Philadelphia Folksong Society has announced dates for this year's annual Philadelphia Folk Festival for August 21-22. They are calling this summer's event a POCKET SIZED festival and giving it the number 59 1/2. There will be both in-person and digital options. It will be held at Spring Mountain Ski Area, nearby the Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 28 at 10 a.m. (POD and general admission seating).
