A man is in custody today after accidentally shooting himself during a home invasion. Late last night two men attempted a home invasion on the 2500 block of North Bancroft Street in North Philadelphia. The two masked men broke into a home and had guns. According to the woman inside at the time, shortly after entering the home one of the men accidently shot himself in the leg. At that point, both men took off. Comedian Bill Cosby has been charged with Aggravated Indecent Criminal Assault in Montgomery County for an alleged sexual assault at his Cheltenham mansion in 2004. Cosby was arraigned on a sex assault charge and will remain free on $1 million bail pending trial. Cosby had no comment on his way in and out of court as he was arraigned on a charge of aggravated indecent assault, punishable by five to 10 years behind bars and a $25,000 fine. Today, Bill Cosby was arrested for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in his Cheltenham mansion 12 years ago. He has been charged with Aggravated Indecent Criminal Assault, a crime that carries a maximum penalty of 5-10 years in prison and $25,000 fine. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced today that he would be using his line-item veto to reject parts of a $30.3 billion budget passed by the state legislature last week. He will sign some parts of it into law to provide emergency funding to schools, social services, and county governments who have been operating since June without a budget. The deadly weather pattern that left hundreds homeless in Texas swept through the Philadelphia region overnight and this morning bringing heavy rains. Another warm, wet day in the area and local ski shops are wondering what to do with all that cold weather gear.
