Staffers at Glenview Elementary School say it became a daily ritual for students to say "God bless America" after the morning recital of the Pledge of Allegiance as a way to honor first responders after 9/11. A New Jersey couple is under arrest after they left their three children outside in a car for almost two hours while they went inside to gamble at a Bensalem casino. 39-year-old Jarrett Evan Nelson and 30-year-old Ebony Walker of Newark, NJ, are charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person. Philadelphia Mayor-elect Jim Kenney and all the members of city council will take the oath of office, Monday morning. The inauguration is in the Academy of Music, but it's, technically, a session of city council. Governor Wolf and Senator Bob Casey will attend, along with all living former mayors. When it's over, the newly-sworn officials will walk to City Hall, where Kenney plans to kick off his term by signing a series of executive orders.

The body of a missing autistic boy was found in a canal this afternoon. 5-year-old Jayliel Vega ran from a relative's home during a New Year's Eve party on Thursday evening. He was not wearing a coat, socks, or shoes. A massive search effort was deployed to search the entire neighborhood on the East Side of Allentown. Allentown police are searching for a 5-year-old autistic boy that went missing on New Year's Eve during a holiday party at a relative's house. 5-year-old Jayliel Vega disappeared around 11 p.m. on Thursday evening from his great aunt's home near S.
