A Bucks County hunter was sentenced on Wednesday, 7/7, to seven to 20 years in prison for accidentally shooting a teenager at Nockamixon State Park in October 2020. 52-year-old Kenneth Troy Heller pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter, recklessly endangering another person, possession of an instrument of crime, possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, and two hunting law violations in the death of 18-year-old Jason Kutt of Sellersville. Tropical Storm Watches and Warnings are in effect ahead of Tropical Storm Elsa for New Jersey and Delaware beaches. The storm will impact the area late Thursday night into Friday morning, before clearing out Friday afternoon. Authorities in Cumberland County, NJ, have identified the girl who was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on the evening of the Fourth of July. Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said that 10-year-old Jasayde Holder had just finished the fourth grade at Dane Barse School. It happened around 11:15 p.m. on the 700 block of West Early Drive in Vineland. She was taken to the hospital were she died from her injuries. Holder was visiting her grandmother at the time. Alleged serial killer Keith Gibson was charged with 41 felony counts in Delaware on Tuesday, 7/6. He is accused of two murders, attempted murder, multiple robberies and assaults. On May 15, he killed 28-year-old Leslie Ruiz-Basilio during a robbery at the Metro PCS store in Elsmere, DE. On June 5, he killed 42-year-old Ronald Wright during a street robbery. A Mount Laurel man has been arrested and taken into custody on Monday, 7/5, after he was caught on video harassing, threatening, and screaming racial slurs at a Black neighbor. 45-year-old Edward Cagney Mathews is charged with harassment, bias intimidation, and assault. Tenants from a Montgomery County apartment building were forced to leave their residences after the building was deemed unsafe. Residents of the Regina Rose Apartments on Stahr Road in Elkins Park found themselves suddenly out of a home. They were allowed inside briefly to gather some belongings. American track star Sha'Carri Richardson will not be able to compete in the 100 m at the Olympics in Tokyo next month after she failed a recent drug test. Richardson was the first place finisher in the women's 100m at the United States Olympic trials two weeks ago with a time of 10.86 seconds. The bill also sought to restrict the heath secretary's actions during a health emergency. Wawa Hoagie Day returned to the Wawa Welcome America Fest on Thursday, July 1, after being postponed in 2020. It was scheduled to be held outside at Independence Mall and was moved inside the Constitution Center because of the threat of bad weather. About 100 Wawa employees worked from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. constructing 17,000 hoagies. 5,000 hoagies were donated to Philabundance. 2,000 hoagies were given to the Philadelphia Police Athletic League and Veterans Multi-Service Center who had a...
