Love Park Graffiti Incident, Philly Resident Charged with Human Trafficking, Obama to visit Cuba |

Love Park was tagged with graffiti today, just days before the iconic park is to be renovated. The park is scheduled to be closed sometime this week as a yearlong; multi-million dollar renovation is set to begin. Mayor Jim Kenney has also lifted the park's ban on skateboarding, giving local skateboarders a last chance to ride on the granite benches, ledges, and steps. It is still not clear who the vandals are, although the mayor has said he suspected this may happen.

A Philadelphia police detective has been suspended with intent to dismiss after being charged with assault. 43-year-old Detective Adam O'Donnell has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Kidnapping, Unlawful Restraint, and related offenses. He surrendered Wednesday to the Philadelphia Police Department's Internal Affairs Unit. It happened February 3rd. The Pennsylvania Turnpike was filled with stranded motorists last month in blizzard conditions for 24 hours. It turns out Turnpike managers were hampered because they relied on a single afternoon weather forecast that understated the severity of the storm. Bill Cosby's criminal sexual assault case, in Montgomery County, is headed to trial. Yesterday the judge, who refused to dismiss the case, denied Cosby's appeal of the decision. The comedian is accused of drugging and assaulting a former Temple University employee at his home in 2004. Cosby is scheduled to be in court for a preliminary hearing on March 8.

Last night at around 7:30, nine men in ski masks robbed the Bloomingdales in Center City, the men stole around 20 to 30 pairs of jeans all in total costing around $2,000. Police stated the men were seen fleeing the scene heading east on Chestnut Street

She won three awards Monday, including best pop vocal album and best music video for "Bad Blood," at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
