Taxi, limo and Uber Black drivers are threatening to boycott the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia this summer unless lawmakers address Lyft and UberX services that have been operating illegally in the city since 2014. The Philadelphia Limousine Association and two taxi groups on Monday said in a statement that they would refuse to pick people up during the convention July 25-28 if the city doesn't crack down on UberX and Lyft.

A man was shot by police today after he pulled out a weapon at a U.S. Capitol Checkpoint. The man was injured and taken to the hospital after being shot, a woman was also injured during the shooting. Police think it is the same man who disrupted the House Chamber last fall. The Capitol was on lockdown after the incident.

A hunk of ice fell from the sky and smashed through the windshield of a parked car in central Pennsylvania leaving a 3 foot hole. The car was in the lot of a Cumberland County car dealership on Friday afternoon. Hampden Township Police believe the ice came from a plane. A salesman was approximately 15 feet from the car when the ice hit. No one was hurt.

A Philly bound flight from Detroit was cancelled on Saturday after the co-pilot was suspected of drinking at the airport before the flight. TSA officials said that on Saturday morning they noticed the co-pilot acting odd while getting on the plane. He was taken off the plane and breathalyzed where he was found to be over the limit for a pilot. The pilot still awaits to see if he will face charges.

Two American citizens have been confirmed killed in this week's attacks in Brussels. Sister and brother Sascha and Alexander Pinczowski from New York were last heard from at the Brussels Airport before the deadly terrorist bombings in the Belgian capital. According to reports, they were on the phone with their mother when the explosion killed them.

Philadelphia Parking Authority has now announced that their ticket kiosks will now accept credit cards once again. The credit card option was down for a short period of time due to problems with processing, but the machines have now been fixed. In addition to credit cards, customers can still also use cash or coins. People can also pay for parking by using the Philly Parking Authority App Meter Up.

Two men were killed in a shooting that happened in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened at around 2:30 yesterday afternoon on the 1600 block of Pratt Street. The two 30-year-old men were found on the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. The two men were rushed to Temple University where they were pronounced dead. As of now no arrests have been made.
