Man Shot in Wynnfield Section, Some Local Kmart's Closing, Prince 911 Transcripts

A 30-year-old Philadelphia man is currently in Critical condition after being shot in the Wynnfield section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened around 8:45 pm on the 5400 block of Morse Street. The man was shot 3 times in the neck and was rushed to Penn Presbytirian Medical Center. As of now there have been no arrests or any suspected motive.

Pop music legend, Prince, was found dead on Thursday morning at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, MN, outside of Minneapolis. His publicist confirmed the death. There are no further details at this time. Prince Rogers Nelson stood a diminutive 5' 2" but brought a creative and innovative force into the world. Supporters listened to Clinton talk about gun violence, mental health and drug addiction saying they should be treated as health issues.

The face of the $20 bill will be changing over the next 4 years. The face will change from President Andrew Jackson to civil rights activist and abolitionist Harriet Tubman. This comes after President Obama's administrations effort to put a woman on One of the bills. The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired the #2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft in a trade with the Cleveland Browns today. With that move, the Eagles are expected to draft a QB, either Cal's Jared Goff or North Dakota State's Carson Wentz. Haverford Township is in mourning after the sudden death of a beloved police officer in the Pennsylvania suburb. According to the police department, 39-year-old William Albertus died Sunday. The seven-year veteran of the force suffered a medical emergency last week while playing ice hockey in a police league. They say Albertus died of natural causes after being hospitalized for a week. He leaves behind his wife and three young children. Services are set for this weekend.

The Superintendent of Schools in Robbinsville, Mercer County, NJ, was struck and killed this morning by a 17-year-old high school student on her way to school. Dr. Steven J. Mayer was out jogging with his dog at 6:15 a.m. on Robbinsville Edinburg Road when he was hit. The female is a student at Robbinsville High School and was going to school early for a field trip. Rockin' the Schoolhouse 2016 show

Since 2012, Haverford teachers have performed concerts to raise money for Haverford High School's BLAST committee, which organizes Haverford's Senior Prom After-Party. These concerts have raised $2,700 and collected 320 items for Philabundance.

The Flyers lost to the Capitals last night to fall behind 3-0 in the series. Flyers fans took Philadelphia's reputation down a couple notches when they threw wristbands onto the ice in frustration.
