| Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band took over Citizens Bank Park in South Philadelphia for Night 1 of a two night stand during The River Tour 2016. The band played a marathon 4 hour and 4 minute set, which is a Bruce Springsteen's US Concert record. He had just broken his previous record last week at MetLife stadium in North Jersey by posting a 3 hour 52 minute show. A Delaware County Police Officer who was shot 7 times while on duty in June will return to work this week. Christopher Dorman has been cleared to return to full police duty, Folcroft Borough police said via Twitter. His first shift will be Friday night. Dorman, 25, was ambushed while responding to a drug-related call in late June. He was shot seven times but has since made a full recovery.

Senate Democrats on Tuesday blocked a $1.1 billion bill to combat the Zika virus. They opposed provisions in the bill that would have blocked funding for Planned Parenthood and that would have allowed Confederate flags to fly at military veteran cemeteries. | Philadelphia Police have arrested and charged a man with murder who allegedly ran over a woman multiple times and then beat her with a shovel. 50-year-old Joel Horton is charged in the death of 52-year-old Adrienne Lindsay. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday September 4th in the 700 block of West Louden Street in the Logan section. Horton repeated ran over Lindsay in his Nissan Maxima. | A man has died after being shot in the back of the head late Monday night. Police responded to a shooting inside a home on the 8300 block of Williams Avenue around 9:30pm. Upon arrival they found an unconscious 29-year-old man in the basement suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
