| Philadelphia Police have a person in custody in the shooting of an 81-year-old grocery store owner in South Philadelphia on Christmas Eve. 31-year-old Maurice Green has been charged in the murder of Marie Buck. Buck was shot 11 times while tending her store 'Marie's Grocery' at 6th and Titan streets around 9 am Christmas Eve. She has run the store with her husband for 43 years. Philadelphia Homicide Detectives are now investigating a deadly shooting that took place on Wednesday night in the Tioga-Nicetown section of Philadelphia. The shooting took place outside of a Checkers restaurant on the 1300 block of West Butler Street. Police arrived on the scene to find a man in his 20's shot in the head and back. The man was later pronounced dead. Police are still investigating the shooting and are looking for a motive and a possible suspect.

| Philadelphia Police have begun to bring a heavy presence of officers at the Philadelphia Mills Mall due to the past 2 nights of chaos. Tuesday nearly 400 teens showed up at the mall and caused havoc. Around 90 of the juveniles made it into the food court, past security, and started fighting. | A man is dead and two firefighters injured after a fire in Fishtown overnight. Fire broke out in a apartment building after 3 a.m. on the 1200 block of Shackamaxon Avenue. Crews discovered a couch burning in the home. A 50-year-old man was found unconscious on the floor in an upper level. He was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital in serious condition where he died. Two firefighters suffered minor cuts which were treated on scene. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.Read More |

| Four people were arrested after an incident that took place at Philadelphia Mills Mall (formerly Franklin Mills) in Northeast Philadelphia. Police responded to the mall at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening of a report that a large group of juveniles were causing a disturbance. Delaware County officials are currently investigating new developments in the case of a missing mother who vanished three and a half years ago. Collingdale Police Chief Robert Adams calls this "major, absolutely major." Collingdale Police searched the home of Melissa Rodriguez using cadaver dogs on Tuesday and crews started digging up the basement. The Delaware River Port Authority is now investigating a fatal accident that took place on the PATCO high speed line. The crash happened around 4 pm at the Broadway station in Camden.
