A Montgomery County man is facing numerous charges for allegedly beating and torturing his two children for years. 44-year-old Joseph Myhre of Greensway Circle in Lower Providence Township is charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, strangulation, conspiracy, unlawful restraint and reckless endangering his two children. Schuylkill Police say that a toddler has been hospitalized after she consumed methamphetamine at her parent's home in Wayne Township. Police say that the girl found the bag of drugs and consumed it on Sunday morning. After being found, she was transported by helicopter to the hospital. Her 26-year-old father and his 24-year-old girlfriend are being charged with child endangerment. There is still no word on the child's condition.

Two ceremonies were held today to swear-in new Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. The first private ceremony was conducted in the Justices' Conference Room by Chief Justice John Roberts. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a shooting occurred in the Strawberry Mansion Section of Philadelphia that left one victim dead and another injured. The shooting took place at around 9:40 pm on Sunday on the 2500 block of North Martson Street. Police say that multiple shots were fired in the area, and two people were struck.
