Had the opportunity to go to the Dr. Dog concert on Saturday Sept. 13th and I have to say I was impressed. With the release of Dr. Dog's album, B-Room, I've become a recent member of the dog pound. I arrived late roamed around eating and missed all of the warmup acts (Mac DeMarco, The Front Bottoms, Hop Along). Talked to more than a few folks at the concert and it appears it was my loss for the feedback was all positive.

Saturday night's bill at the Wells Fargo Center is set to be a 1-2 punch of the best of today's alternative rock. There is no mellow or softness to either act here, just raw straight forward rock and roll.
