It is being held once again on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, PA, over Labor Day Weekend on Saturday- Sunday September 4-5. The announcement was made on Monday, 6/14. Philadelphia funk favorite Johnny Showcase took to the America's Got Talent stage on Tuesday night, 6/8, along with his spiritual advisor Rumi Kitchen and female singers The Truth. Johnny was dressed in his signature blue bell bottom jumpsuit and gold chains. Judge Heidi Klum commented that "Finally, someone came dressed for the party!" The rest of the judges seemed confused or not impressed during the interview segment, but that all changed as soon as Johnny started performing.

They are calling this summer's event a POCKET SIZED festival and giving it the number 59 1/2. There will be both in-person and digital options.
