The Silver Sun Pickups, an alternative rock band of Los Angeles, were pushed to sending Presidential candidate Mitt Romney a cease-and-desist letter after he had been used their song 'Panic Switch' without permission of the artists. He used the track at a campaign event and this did not sit well with the band who rebutted with "We don't like people going behind our backs, using our music without asking, and we don't like the Romney campaign". Frontman Brian Aubert went on to say that they are... Read More |

Madonna will be beginning her 10th tour, not counting guest performances, on August 28, 2012 at the Wells Fargo Center. This North American tour will be following her Europe tour which began May 31. As the first show of a tour is very sought after it seems to reason that tickets would be going for skyrocketing prices.
Two longtime supporters of the PA Animal Shelter successfully auctioned their 4 Madonna tickets to the Wells Fargo Center for $100,000. The tickets were originally... Read More |

Two weeks ago we were treated to Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire Director Danny Boyle's universally acclaimed Opening Ceremonies for the London 2012 Olympic Games. 2008 Beijing's scale and pageantry would have been impossible to top, and quite simply the UK is not China. The British might have a stereotype of being stuffy and carrying a stiff upper lip, they certainly aren't a regimented culture where everyone has a singular personality. Even the Queen, of all people, had a little fun and... Read More |

October 8, 2012, Barbra Streisand kicking off perhaps her last tour in Philadelphia. She has not performed in North America in six years and, as of now, she is not planning on having more tours.
