The Philadelphia 76ers announced today that rookie center Joel Embiid will be out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury. The Sixers said on Monday that he would be out indefinitely, but then decided to sideline him for the rest of the year after an MRI showed his torn meniscus is worse than they expected. Temple University's football program has now announced that four of its players are going to participate in the 2017 NFL combine in Indianapolis. The four players are DL Haason Reddick, OL Dion Dawkins, DB Nate Hariston, and RB Jahad Thomas. Dawkins, Reddick and Thomas are all New Jersey natives, and Hariston is from Frederick, Maryland. The 2017 NFL combine will take place between February 28th and March 6th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
