1yo Miles McKeown Found Safe, Amber Alert Canceled; Sixers Fan Banned After Carmelo Anthony Taunting

A missing 1-year-old boy was found safe in Philadelphia on Saturday night, 1/29. The earlier Amber Alert for Miles McKeown has been canceled. It started around 7 p.m. on the 2400 block of North 33rd Street. The boy's mother was dropping off groceries to relatives. She had left the car running and her 1-year-old and 4-year-old children inside the vehicle. An unidentified suspect stole the car with the children inside. The 4-year-old was found walking barefoot in the snow a few blocks away on the 3300 block of West Huntingdon Street. The Amber Alert was issued for 1-year-old Miles McKeown and the neon blue 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage. The car was spotted just before 9:30 p.m. on the 2800 block of Huntingdon Street. The car was still running and the boy was sleeping inside. The two children were taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for evaluations. They were not injured. Police are searching for the suspect.

A heckling fan who drew the ire of Los Angles Laker Carmelo Anthony on Thursday, 1/27, has been banned indefinitely from future Sixers games and other Wells Fargo Center events. A second fan has been suspended from games this season. It happened during the Lakers' game in Philadelphia. The fan had been taunting Anthony from the second row between the scorer's table and the visitor's bench. The fan said something that was finally enough for Anthony and the player walked across the court pointing and yelling at the fan. Anthony told reporters that the fan called him "boy." The referees and security made sure to keep everyone calm and separated. The fan and his friend were immediately escorted from the arena.

"It is what it is," Anthony said to reporters. "Some things were said. Unacceptable. I'm cool with fans heckling, fans talking trash, cheering for their team, booing the other team - I'm all for that. But when you cross certain lines as a man, that's what you're going to see... I'm sure the people that are in charge will take care of it accordingly, deal with it accordingly. My job is done when it comes to that."
