Police in Cherry Hill, NJ, are searching for a man wanted for impersonating an officer and attempting to grab a woman after pulling her over. He may be the same man wanted in two similar incidents earlier this month. This latest incident happened around 1:04 p.m. on Monday, 8/16, on Route 38. The woman said she was pulled over by a white Ford van with red and blue LED warning lights in the grill and on the rear doors. The suspect walked up to the driver's side window and reached in and grabbed her neck. She was able to drive away. He is described as a white man in his 30s with dark red or brown hair and a medium length beard. He was wearing a blue shirt with the word "POLICE" on the front. The van was caught on surveillance video nearby. Similar incidents happened on August 1 and 3 in Brick Township and Wall Township. A suspect with similar description was driving a black, older model Ford Crown Victoria and used a blue dashboard light to pull over the women.

The National Weather Service Mount Holly/Philadelphia has confirmed a tornado touched down in Montgomery and Bucks County early Thursday morning, 8/19. It occurred around 12:30 a.m. between Souderton, PA (Montgomery County) to Silverdale/Perkasie, PA (Bucks County). It was rated as an EF-1. The NWS also confirmed a tornado in Hamburg, PA (Tilden Township, Berks County) around 9 p.m. Thursday night, 8/18. These were caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred that pulled through the area last night. Heavy rains also caused flashing flooding.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has advised its priests not to assist any parishioner seeking a religious exception from taking the coronavirus COVID-19 vaccine. The archdiocese is not "able to provide support, written or otherwise, for individuals seeking an exemption from the vaccine on religious grounds." The church is unable to validate a person's personal terms of conscience.

"In unison with the Holy See and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), the Archdiocese of Philadelphia strongly recommends that all members of the Catholic community should receive the COVID-19 vaccine unless a medical reason prevents them from doing so," Kenneth A. Gavin, chief communications officer with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, said. "That recommendation is based on the facts that the COVID-19 vaccines and their development have been determined morally acceptable and that we all share a common ethical responsibility to the well-being of our fellow human beings."
