Authorities have made a break in the case of a missing Bucks County woman. 26-year-old Cassandra 'Casey' Johnston's vehicle was found in a wooded area just off of Woodhaven Road (Rt. 63) at the exit to Rt. 1 North in Northeast Philadelphia. Officials have not disclosed what led them to this location. Johnston was last seen leaving a friend's house on Saturday morning, 7/10, around 5:30 a.m. near 12th and Vine in Philadelphia's Chinatown. Her silver 2016 Ford Focus was captured on traffic cam a few minutes later approaching I-95. She never made it home to Lower Bucks County. Casey is still missing. If you have any information, call Lower Southampton police by calling 215-357-1235 ext 339.

UPDATE: A body has also been found in the same area as the car. It is believed to be Casey Johnston. Police are investigating near Townsend and Southampton Roads, about a half mile from the car. A preliminary investigation indicates a car crash.

"I feel pretty comfortable that it is her," said Lower Southampton Township Police Chief Ted Krimmel
