Arrest in Trenton Brothers' Shooting; 3yo Shot in Philly; Army Navy Game Moved to West Point

The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office says that a man and a woman have been arrested in the deadly shooting of two young brothers in their Trenton, NJ, home earlier this week. 26-year-old Dajuan Kelley of Ewing, NJ, and 29-year-old Destanie Ellis of Morrisville, PA, are each charged with two counts of first-degree murder and related charges in the deaths of 8-year-old Johnny Perez and his older brother, 16-year-old Gustavo Perez. Ellis was arrested on Thursday in Trenton. Kelley was arrested on Friday by U.S. Marshals in Hampton, Georgia. It happened around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday night, 10/20, on the 200 block of Mulberry Street. Gustavo and his older brother had gotten into a dispute with Ellis and Kelley earlier that night. Ellis followed Gustavo home and called Kelley and others to the location. She pointed out the residence. Kelley then shot at Gustavo and Johnny who were standing near a window. They were found suffering from gunshot wounds in the kitchen. The shooting remains under investigation.

A three-year-old boy was shot and injured in Southwest Philadelphia on Friday night, 10/23. It happened around 7:45 p.m. on the 2000 block of South 68th Street. The boy was shot once in the right hand and once in the arm. He was transported to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition. No arrests have been made and no weapon has been recovered. The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information, call call police at 215-686-TIPS.

This year's Army-Navy football game has been moved from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia to West Point. Philadelphia and Pennsylvania's limit on outdoor gathering size currently restricts the 69,000 seat Linc to 7,500 people. That includes players, coaches, team personnel, and stadium staff in addition to any fans. The annual game is usually a sea of blue and grey. Holding the game at Michie Stadium in New York will allow the entire Brigade of Midshipmen and Corps of Cadets to attend. The last time it was held in West Point was 1943 during World War II. The game has been held in Philadelphia 89 times.

"Of utmost importance to us throughout this entire process was the health, safety and welfare of the Corps of Cadets and the Brigade of Midshipmen," Army athletic director Mike Buddie said. "We are excited about this historic opportunity."
