It has been one year since Dulce Maria Alavez disappeared from Bridgeton City Park. It happened on September 16, 2019. The 5-year-old was playing with her younger brother on a playground while her mother, Noema Alavez Perez, sat a short distance away in the car when she vanished. Authorities and neighbors searched the 1,000 acre park for weeks. Some witnesses say they saw her taken by a man. Police released a sketch in October 2019 describing a Hispanic male, roughly 5'7", slender build, roughly 30-35 years old. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a white baseball-style hat. "That photo is still a good photo," Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae says. "What I want the public to understand is that's the best information that we got and gleaned at the time from a witness that came forward." Local, State, and Federal officials are still investigating the case, but need help from the public. If you have any information call the Bridgeton Police Department at 856-451-0033. There is a $75,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Two people are dead and two others injured in a quadruple shooting at a basketball court in Philadelphia's Spring Garden section on Wednesday night, 9/16. It happened around 8:15 p.m. on the 1800 block of Wallace Street at the Roberto Clemente Playground. Police say that three men entered the playground and opened fire on the victims. "We have video that shows three males enter the playground from Wallace Street and targeted the deceased male, chased him around the playground and shot him multiple times to his torso, then opened fire on the other group of males that was also in the playground, which was the males that we transported to the hospital," Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Melvin Singleton said. A 21-year-old man was shot multiple times in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An 18-year-old was shot in the lower back and later died at the hospital. Two others were injured. One is in stable condition and the other is in critical condition. Police found 55 shell casings. There were over a dozen people at the park. Police took one person into custody who was waiting in a vehicle on Wallace street. He had a handgun, but they don't know if he was connected to this shooting or not. Police are reviewing video from the area.

UPDATE: Police have identified 21-year-old Khalid Henderson and 18-year-old Jayden Lucas as the two fatal victims. The two injured have only been identified as an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man.

Also all roads in the stadium area will be closed. Tailgating will also be prohibited in FDR park.
