Musikfest 2020 has moved its 10-day festival online this year due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. The Bethlehem, Pennsylvania outdoor music festival usually attracts 1.2 million for free music performances across 17 stages along with German themed food and crafts. For its 36th year you'll be able to watch the music streaming online. There is also an online craft village. Festival food is available for pickup. The festival runs from July 31 - August 9. You can watch the Virtual Musikfest streaming online below or on the Service Electric Network (SEN50) on TV.
This year's headliners include Robert Randolph, KT Tunstall, Adam Weiner of Low Cut Connie, Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root, Reverend Horton Heat, Devon Gilfillian, Scythian, Kat Wright Trio, Igor & the Red Elvises, and Craig Thatcher & Nyke van Wyk.
There will actually be 5 LIVE shows this year that you can attend in person. They will be socially distanced and follow health guidelines. Attendance is very limited. You have to reserve a space. https://www.musikfest.org/2020live/
The live shows will feature The Uptown Band, The BRUCE Show, Craig Thatcher Band, Hector Rosado Orchestram, and Danielle Ponder. These will be held at the Highmark Blue Shield Community Stage on the Air Products Town Square.
