Peyton Manning Signs With Denver Broncos; Should Eagles Go After Tebow

Peyton Manning has decided to sign with the Denver Broncos. Manning was looking around other places and it seemed the Broncos were down the lists, but John Elway was able to persuade Peyton to go to the Mile High city. Needless to say, Peyton Manning is better that Tim Tebow, despite the great run he led them on last year.

The Broncos are looking to unload their former quarterback in a trade and don't quite care what they get in return. That opens up a world of options for teams who might be willing to gamble on Tebow's unorthodox style in return for a bump in attention on their team. They also won't have to give up much to get him. Teams such as Miami or Jacksonvillle could bring him home to Florida.

A question for us here in Philadelphia to think about, what could having Tim Tebow on our offense do? He's proven that he's not a passer, but he's a great option runner. Think of two quarterback sets without Tebow and Vick in the back field. He could be brought in on a wildcat formation as well. That's the kind of "back" Tebow really is, not a true quarterback, but not a running back. Maybe Andy Reid would be crazy enough to try it out.
