British crooner Sam Smith will have to undergo vocal cord surgery after suffering a hemmorrhage while on tour in Australia last week. It happened during a show in Sydney on April 28th. He posted this message on his facebook page: "I am very upset to announce I have been battling to get my vocal cords better the last 10 days. But unfortunately they haven't recovered and I am going to need surgery. I'm so gutted to be missing all the shows and events I was meant to be playing at." Smith has cancelled all his date in May and June and hopes to resume touring in France on July 5th. Adele, Bjork, and Keith Urban all had similar surgeries in recent years.

ICYMI, earlier this week on the The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon and Jack Black unveiled a shot-for-shot remake of Extreme's 1990 video for "More Than Words." The original video itself feels like a parody, so it was ripe to be ripped off. Ironically, the hard rock band fronted by Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt was probably best known by this acoustic ballad and its sappy black and white video.

Tame Impala released the third single off their upcoming third album Currents on Thursday morning. The track is called “Eventually.”
