Hall and Oates nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Finally, Hall and Oates have been nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I have been disappointed for years at who has not been nominated. I do not in any way begrudge those that have been nominated and inducted. Hall and Oates are to me the quintessential Philly soul group. They are the top of the blue eyed soul genre as well as being the top selling duo of all time. I have seen them live many times and marvel at their showmanship. If you have not heard or seen the collaboration between Daryl Hall and Rumer on "Sara Smile," you are missing a magical moment. When I close my eyes I think 'Did Daryl get Dusty Springfield to do a tape?' A remarkable song and performance.

This year we the fans can vote for who we would like inducted into the Hall of Fame. If you are of the mind that Hall and Oates should be recognized by the Hall, vote on www.rockhall.com.
