Sixers involved in 4 Team Trade; Get Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, Andre Iguodala to Nuggets

A massive 4 team trade is shuffling players all over the league. The biggest piece of the trade is C Dwight Howard moving from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers. In order to get that deal done, sources close to the process say that Sixers F Andre Iguodala is headed to the Denver Nuggets and the Sixers get Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson. The Orlando Magic pick up a lot of personnel and picks acquiring Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and a protected first round pick from Philly, LA, and Denver. They'll also get the 76ers' No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless.

All of this does need to get approval from the NBA league office, which has a scheduled trade call tomorrow.

Los Angeles was able to get Howard without giving up Pau Gasol, which was a sticking point before.

For the Sixers, Andrew Bynum can be signed to a 3-year $60 million contract extension or he can wait and become a free agent at the end of this year, where he can expect to sign a healthier longer term deal.

Andre Iguodala is now shipped off to the Mile High City, where we sent our other AI when it was time to trade him. Iguodala with all his athleticism never figured out how to lead this team and make it his own, no matter how much we tried to will it to him. He is having a great Olympics and has played well for team USA in the past. Best of luck in Denver.
